CESI École d'Ingénieurs
CESI École d'Ingénieurs is one of France's largest private engineering schools, founded in 1958 by major French industrial companies (Renault, Snecma, Schlumberger and others) to bridge the gap between higher education and industry. Headquartered near Paris in La Défense — Nanterre, CESI today operates 26 campuses across France, making it the most geographically distributed engineering grande école in the country.
Its flagship engineering degree (Diplôme d'Ingénieur) is accredited by the Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur (CTI) — the same authority that accredits École Polytechnique and Centrale-Supélec — and carries the Grade de Master. The school offers a complete pipeline: 2-year CPI preparatory cycle, 3-year Ingénieur cycle in Generalist, Computer Science, Construction (BTP) and Embedded Electronics tracks, plus English-taught Master's, MSc and MBA programs.
CESI's pedagogy is anchored in the apprenticeship model — alternating academic semesters with paid industrial placements at 8,000 partner companies.
