Fanshawe College is located in London, Ontario, Canada, just 2 hours from Toronto, Niagara Falls and Detroit, USA. Known as the "Forest City" for its scenic parks and lakes, London is also a business and cultural center. 6,500 foreign students from 100 different countries study at Fanshawe College, and the total number of full-time students is 21,000. In addition to campuses in downtown London and South London, Simcoe, St. Thomas and Woodstock, Fanshawe is one of Ontario's largest colleges offering over 200 undergraduate, diploma and certificate programs. Set on approximately 40,000 square feet of scenic land, the Fanshawe main campus features state-of-the-art education and athletic facilities. Students can choose between family, on-campus or private rental options for accommodation. All full-time London students are issued a London Transport bus pass and are granted access to the Student Health and Fitness Center. In addition to the Fanshawe International Student Center, there are many clubs and sports teams that students can join or support. Fanshawe College focuses on collaborative education that combines academic education and employment, enabling students to "win while learning". At the Center for Research and Innovation, students work on solutions to real-world problems presented by industry partners. As a member of the Canadian Bureau of International Education, Fanshawe College offers its students the chance to participate in exchange programs in Europe, South America, Asia and the Scandinavian countries, as well as more than 500 different academic transfer opportunities in Canada and around the world.
