International Business School Budapest
International Business School (IBS) is an accredited private business school founded in 1991 by Prof. István Tamás. Based in Budapest's Óbuda-Békásmegyer district at Záhony Street 7, IBS was the first independent business school established in Hungary after the political transition and remains one of the most internationally-oriented higher education institutions in Central Europe.
IBS delivers UK degree programmes in partnership with The University of Buckingham, with BSc, MSc, MBA and PhD students graduating with diplomas from the UK institution. The school is accredited in Hungary, the United Kingdom, the European Union and the United States, providing dual-recognition graduates with strong international employability.
The curriculum is highly practice-based and tightly aligned with international business careers. IBS operates three campuses — Budapest, Vienna and Mauritius — and runs an Erasmus+ exchange network covering nearly 70 partner universities across Europe, giving students structured access to international mobility throughout their degree.
