LISAA — L'Institut Supérieur des Arts Appliqués — is one of France's largest private schools of applied arts, founded in 1986 by Bernard Bléton and Alfred Salaün. Headquartered in Paris's Latin Quarter, LISAA operates 10 campuses across France: Paris, Nantes, Rennes, Strasbourg, Bordeaux, Toulouse and Montpellier. The school is recognised by the French Ministry of Culture and its degrees are registered at level 6 (Bachelor) and level 7 (Master) in the RNCP — France's National Directory of Professional Certifications.
LISAA specialises in four creative fields: Fashion Design, Graphic Design & Communication, Animation & Video Games, and Interior Architecture & Design. The Paris campus alone hosts four dedicated schools, each with industrial-grade facilities — pattern-making and knitwear workshops, FabLab with laser cutters, motion capture studios, color grading suites, sound studios, and software labs equipped with Maya, Houdini, Unreal Engine, Toon Boom Harmony and Adobe Creative Cloud.
International students can enrol in English-taught programmes at LISAA Paris and Strasbourg, including Bachelor Fashion Design, Bachelor Graphic Design, Bachelor 2-D/3-D Animation, Bachelor Interior Architecture & Design and several Masters (Art Direction, Fashion Design & Brand Creation, Fashion Design & Innovation, Fashion & Luxury Management). The 5-year Interior Architecture programme is available 100% in English in Paris and Strasbourg.
