University of Mount Saint Vincent
The University of Mount Saint Vincent is a private Catholic liberal arts university located in Riverdale, Bronx, New York City, founded in 1847 by the Sisters of Charity of New York as the Academy of Mount Saint Vincent. It became a degree-granting institution in 1911 and achieved university status in 2024. The campus sits on the Hudson River waterfront, providing one of the most scenic academic settings in New York City.
The university offers undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs across six schools: the School of Business, School of Education, School of Humanities, Communication, and Art, School of Natural and Mathematical Sciences, Saint Joseph's School of Nursing, and the School of Social Sciences. Programs span nursing, business, communication, biology, psychology, data analytics, and physician assistant studies, among many others.
