Rochester Institute of Technology — Dubai (RIT Dubai) is a private American university and the third international satellite campus of Rochester Institute of Technology (Rochester, NY). Founded in 2008, RIT Dubai is based in Dubai Silicon Oasis and is one of only two universities in the UAE to offer a true American degree — graduates earn the same diploma issued by RIT's New York campus.
RIT Dubai is accredited by the UAE Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), ABET (engineering programs), the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), and Dubai's Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA). Engineering programs — Electrical, Mechanical and Industrial — are ABET-accredited, the gold standard for engineering education worldwide.
