Thompson Rivers University
Thompson Rivers University (TRU) is a comprehensive teaching university located in Kamloops, British Columbia. Founded in 1970, TRU serves over 25,000 students including a large international community from over 100 countries, offering programs in business, science, nursing, tourism, arts, and the trades.
TRU is one of Canada's most internationally diverse universities and is particularly known for its open learning and distance education programs. TRU World, the university's international arm, provides dedicated support services, English language preparation, and pathway programs for international students.
