<p>Troy University is a public University comprising a network of campuses throughout Alabama and globally. Founded in 1887 as Troy State Normal School within the Alabama State University System, it is now a powerhouse of higher education. Troy University is home to more than 150 student organisations in academic, cultural, sports and other fields. From Greek life to special interest societies such as The Swing Dance Club or the Board Game Alliance, there is lots of activity occurring on campus. 200+ Annual Fine Arts Performances occur on campus throughout the year. The Dining Service on the Troy University campus provides fresh food and a range of dietary options in its Trojan Dining Hall with five wildly different food stations. The 300-seat Adams Center Performing Arts Theatre is situated on the second floor of the Trojan Center and often shows drama performances.</p> <p>Troy is a small student town located in the world-famous state of Alabama.
