University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE Germany)
University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE) is a state-recognised private university of applied sciences in Germany, part of the Global University Systems (GUS) network. Its German operations consolidate several historical institutions including BiTS (Business and Information Technology School, Iserlohn, founded in 2000), BTK (University of Art & Design), and Hochschule Fresenius design programmes, which were merged and rebranded as University of Europe for Applied Sciences in 2018.
UE Germany operates campuses in Berlin (Charlottenburg, Lichtenberg, Berlin Tower), Hamburg, Iserlohn and Potsdam, with all degree programmes taught in English. The university is organised into five schools: Business School, Tech School, School of Art & Design, School of Sport, and School of Psychology & Therapy.
Programmes range from foundation pathway and bachelor's to master's and MBA, covering international business, finance, digital business, software engineering, AI, data science, cyber security, game design, animation & VFX, communication design, fashion, interior architecture, sport management, esport business and psychology. UE is known particularly for its strong sport management track and its art & design heritage.
