University of Prince Edward Island
The University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI) is a small, student-centred university in Charlottetown, Canada's smallest provincial capital. Founded in 1969 through the merger of Prince of Wales College and St. Dunstan's University, it offers a close-knit academic community.
UPEI is home to the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), one of only five veterinary colleges in Canada and the only one in Atlantic Canada. The university offers over 60 undergraduate and graduate programs across arts, science, business, education, and nursing.
