University of Utah
The University of Utah is a public research university in Salt Lake City, Utah, and the flagship institution of the Utah System of Higher Education. Founded in 1850, it is one of the oldest universities west of the Mississippi River and is classified as a Tier 1 research institution and a member of the prestigious Association of American Universities (AAU).
The university enrolls over 38,000 students across 17 colleges and schools, offering more than 150 academic departments and programs. Top-ranked programs include Computer Science, Entertainment Arts and Engineering (Games), Nursing, the David Eccles School of Business, and the School of Medicine.
