Xenion High School
Xenion High School is a private K-12 school in Paralimni, Cyprus, established in 2001. It functions under the supervision of the Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture in accordance with the Private Schools Act, 1971, and is notably the only private school in the Famagusta district. The school combines the best of the Cypriot and British primary curricula and progresses students through Gymnasium, IGCSE and A-Level qualifications.
In November 2011 the British Council named Xenion High School students the 'Best Performing Learners in Cyprus' in the June 2011 examination series — a hallmark of the school's academic reputation. Xenion's motto is 'Knowledge is freedom and power'.
Xenion operates a flagship STEAME Programme (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, Entrepreneurship) — an interdisciplinary track preparing students for top UK, EU and US universities. Faculty includes approximately 120 staff led by Principal Katelitsa Zouvani Phylactou.
